As a third generation builder, Paul Golden draws on a rich heritage that has provided him with tremendous knowledge, understanding and insight into all aspects of construction. He started out as an apprentice to his father in Los Angeles working in the full range of trades and earned his contractor’s license at the age of 22. He gained invaluable experience as a superintendent to prominent developers in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. His credo is that honesty, communication and trust must take precedence over all else in one’s relationship to clients. This combination of experience and character has been integral to his success.

“I was inspired by the level of quality that can be achieved in a custom home,” Paul explains, “and I saw that there was an opportunity to build such homes in the country club communities in the Desert.” This led Paul Golden in 1990 to base his company, Golden Construction, Inc., in the Coachella Valley.
